Agreement

These terms apply when you create an account, subscribe to BarberByte or use a BarberByte booking page. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

The service

BarberByte provides software for barbers to publish a booking page, manage services and availability, receive appointment requests and view schedule and analytics information.

BarberByte is not the barber, salon, contractor or appointment provider. Haircut services are provided by the barber shown on the booking page.

Barber accounts

• You must provide accurate account, profile, service, price, address and availability information.
• You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
• You must keep your booking page professional, lawful and suitable for clients to use.
• You are responsible for honouring, rescheduling or cancelling appointments made through your page.

Subscriptions

BarberByte is provided as a paid monthly subscription for barbers. New barber subscriptions may include a 7-day free trial where shown during checkout. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at the monthly price shown at checkout.

Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. If a subscription is unpaid, cancelled or inactive, access to dashboard features may be limited or removed.

Client bookings

Clients can use a barber's public booking page to request an appointment. BarberByte sends booking and cancellation emails where email delivery is available. Clients pay the barber in person unless BarberByte clearly states otherwise on the booking page.

Acceptable use

• Do not use BarberByte for unlawful, harmful, misleading or abusive activity.
• Do not interfere with the security, availability or performance of the service.
• Do not upload or enter content that you do not have permission to use.
• Do not use client information from BarberByte in a way that breaches privacy, marketing or consumer law.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep BarberByte reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, suspend or remove features when needed to operate, improve or protect the service.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BarberByte is not responsible for missed appointments, client no shows, barber cancellations, incorrect availability, incorrect prices, lost earnings, business interruption or indirect losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it.

Ending use

You may stop using BarberByte and cancel your subscription as described in the cancellation policy. We may suspend or terminate access if these terms are breached or if continued access may cause risk to BarberByte, barbers, clients or service providers.
